I have always used Microsoft Money since the early days (mid 90s). And I was really disappointed when Microsoft Announced the end of Microsoft Money (previous post [4]).
Though I kept on using my “old” version (2008), I did start looking for a potential replacement, including the recommended Quicken. Through the different sites, I came across this nice list of 16 other finance programs: http://www.getrichslowly.org/blog/2009/07/01/good-bye-microsoft-money-16-powerful-personal-finance-programs/ [5]
[6]As I was about to start switching everything over to Quicken or one of other alternatives, I ran across this excellent news! Microsoft Money Plus is BACK and FREE ! The version is actually a “sunset” version as explained in the link here below with no online services... But it is still Microsoft Money Plus!
