For those of you using your cool PDA w/ internal or external GPS as more than just a phone or organizer, but also as a Navigator, here are a few must-have links:

The FREE one-stop shop for your POIS for just about any type of POIs and for most countries in the world.
Select your country, browse by type of POI, and click on them to download the POIs for your PDA or TomTom device:

If you want to go one step further and automate the download and synchronization of your POIs for POIPlace, CheckPOInt 6.0 is FREE and provides an outstanding simple yet full-featured application to manage your POIs and their display as overlays within TomTom. You can find the tool and very useful information including an on-line manual (not updated yet for version 6)
