Shutter: the new gScrot

In a previous post, I was praising gScrot as one of the best option to take screenshots. Well, it got better and it also got "reborn" as Shutter.

If you are running ubuntu, add the following lines to your sources.list (/etc/apt/sources.list)
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/shutter/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/shutter/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

Add the PPA gpg key
wget -q http://shutter-project.org/shutter-ppa.key -O- | sudo apt-key add -

Perform an update of apt:
sudo apt-get update

and proceed to install Shutter:
sudo apt-get install shutter
