Is Silverlight ready to compete w/ Flash?

Well to my own surprise, when accessing a Silverlight app on the net on my little Ubuntu laptop, here is what I got:

Moonlight is an open source implementation of Microsoft Silverlight for Unix systems.

I knew about Wine, Mono, Crossover, Grasshopper and many other MS based technologies "enablers", but this one I had never heard off. And guess what, it worked!
