20+ Black Friday deals that save you 50% or more
This year has been a doozy when it comes to the cost of simply existing. Shopping Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals is a smart move if you're trying to save some money this year. In all fairness, the Black Friday sales have blown us away with just how good they are. Not to mention, they haven't fizzled out just because Black Friday is officially over.
But if you're not impressed with a measly 20% off sale, maybe a 50% off sale will do the trick. Somehow, we're still seeing these epic deals across tons of categories like kitchen appliances, Lego sets, headphones, and more. Stuff you actually want for yourself or to give as gifts this holiday season might very well be half off right now.
SEE ALSO: Expert-picked Black Friday deals still live: We found record prices on AirPods, Kindles, Lego, and PS5 consolesAs a journalist, I'm better at words than I am with numbers, so I'm cheating a bit here, and I've included deals that are 47% off or more. I understand that doesn't qualify as a full half-off, but a few deals that hover at 47% or 48% were just too good to disqualify.
If you're hoping to snag a super great deal before Cyber Monday, here's a curated list of some excellent deals that'll save you (about) 50%.

If you're searching for a holiday gift that's likely to be a hit for almost anyone, an ice cream maker is a great bet. The Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker Machine is a workhorse of a kitchen appliance that'll allow you to become your own ice cream artist — or you can also go the sorbet or frozen yogurt route. In any case, snagging this model at Amazon will save you a sweet 48% compared to the list price of $129.95. Plus, if you gift this ice cream maker over the holidays, you're in line for a VIP invite to the summer ice cream social.

"In a shocking turn of events, the HBO Max Black Friday deal in 2025 actually beats its streaming deal from 2024 and 2023. This year, new and returning subscribers can sign up for 12 months of HBO Max Basic with ads for $2.99 per month through Dec. 1. That's just $35.88 for the whole year and about 73% in savings. In 2023 and 2024, the streamer only offered this discounted price for six months. So, not only are you getting double the subscription length for a discount, but you're also saving even more after its recent price hike (up to $10.99/month from $9.99/month)." — Christina Buff, Mashable Contributor

180+ Amazon Black Friday deals still live: AirPods, Kindles, Lego, and LG TVs are still available
Black Friday is wrapping up, but that doesn't mean we've taken our foot off the gas. In fact, we're charging forward to Cyber Monday.
Since Black Friday has technically passed, many retailers, including Amazon, are now shifting their attention to Cyber Monday. This is great news for you, as it means you have a little extra time to shop online if you didn't get to it yesterday. Basically, if you see a product marked as a 'Cyber Monday deal,' it's likely to stay on sale through Dec. 1.
We're seeing a bunch of epic deals on some of our favorite products from Bose, Apple, Anker, and Lego, in addition to Amazon devices like Kindles and the Echo lineup, plus discounts on some of our favorite gifts for 2025. Amazon even brought back its 1-cent Haul deals.
The majority of Amazon's deals are record-low prices, but be warned, deals are selling out and increasing in price. Overnight, the Apple AirPods 4 with ANC rose to $139.99 from $109.99. To track last-minute Black Friday prices, plug a product URL into camelcamelcamel, the Mashable shopping team's secret weapon for finding the lowest prices at Amazon.
SEE ALSO: 20+ of the best Black Friday streaming deals live: HBO Max, Apple TV+, Spotify, and moreThe last-minute Black Friday and early Cyber Monday deals are live, and you don't have time to waste. We'll be updating this page with new Amazon deals as they drop, so keep checking back through the end of Cyber Weekend. Of course, it's worth checking out the best deals from competing retailers like Target, Best Buy, and Walmart to make sure you're getting the best deal (we curate our lists to only include deals that are the actual best ones across retailers). If you don't feel like scrolling through all of that, you can keep up with the best deals across the internet with our live deals tracker or get them texted straight to your phone.
Best Apple deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple AirPods 4 with ANC $69 at Amazon$129 Save $60 Get Deal Why we like it
We've been waiting for this one: During Black Friday, the base model AirPods 4 hit a record low price of $69 at Amazon, and the price is holding strong as we head into Cyber Monday. This is a frankly absurd price for Apple wireless earbuds, which somehow have gotten more affordable in the age of inflation and tariffs. But word of caution, we've seen the price on the Apple AirPods 4 with ANC go up and up, so if you see the AirPods 4 without ANC at $69, grab them before they're gone.

Down at a record-low price, the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite is Mashable's favorite Kindle. It can get up to 12 weeks of battery life before you'll need to recharge, and the 16GB storage gives plenty of room for downloaded books. Gift it to the reader in your life or snag one for yourself to stay entertained during holiday travel. It's also fully waterproof, so you can take it along to the pool or on your tropical winter vacation.

It’s a known fact of the universe that Amazon devices get serious discounts on Black Friday (and Prime Day, for that matter). If you haven't picked up a smart speaker yet, or just need one for a random room like the laundry room or guest bath, we recommend the Echo Pop. It’s currently $21.99, which is 45% off its regular price. Unlike the spherical Echo Dot, the Pop has a flat front that makes it fit way better on shallow shelves or crowded nightstands. It’s the perfect low-stakes way to add Alexa to another corner of your house without spending "real" money. But this is selling out fast as we head into Cyber Monday, as every color besides Black has sold out.

The new Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 is one of my favorite portable power stations to hit the market this year. Anker's new Gen 2 models focus on portability, and the C1000 Gen 2 is shockingly easy to carry around at 25 pounds. It's a great model for taking to the campground or keeping in the garage in case of power outages. Thanks to Amazon's lingering Black Friday sale, this model is down to a new record low, and as we head into Cyber Weekend, it's maintaining that low price.

The Apple Watch SE 3 earns the top spot on Mashable's list of the best smartwatches. The SE 3 is the first SE model to come with an always-on display. Mashable Tech Editor Timothy Beck Werth wrote, "In addition to its gorgeous OLED display, it has the same S10 chip inside the Ultra 3, the same water resistance as the Series 11, and all the necessary features you're looking for in a smartwatch." Amazon has matched Walmart's excellent deal on the TCL QM6K TV, which our friends at CNET (also owned by Ziff Davis) dubbed the "best TV under $1,000 in 2025." It checks all the boxes you want in a new TV: impressive picture quality with vibrant colors, smooth streaming interface (via Google TV), a high refresh rate for gaming (144Hz), and a killer price tag. At $697.99, this lingering Black Friday deal not only beats its Prime Day price by more than $50, but it marks a new record-low. It's not quite as impressive as its QM8K sibling, but the QM6K is "a stellar mini LED TV for the low-to-mid-tier price range," as our team pointed out in our roundup of the best TVs for 2025.

This Black Friday season marks the very first time the Roborock Saros 10R has dropped below $1,000, so senior shopping reporter Leah Stodart can't help but recommend it to people — considering the Saros 10R was her favorite robot vacuum that she's ever tested for most of 2025, and is still the best robot vacuum mop combo when it comes to corner and edge mopping. (In Reddit threads about which robot vacuum everyone is looking to buy this Black Friday, the Saros 10R is mentioned multiple times.)
At 22,000 Pa of suction power, the Saros 10R is also one of the most powerful robot vacs you'll find on sale this season. Plus, the livestream pet camera will quickly become a daily staple in the routines of busy pet parents.

The Ninja Slushi is a blast in any season — frozen margs in any flavor you want when it's hot, apple cider slush or gingerbread frappé when it's chilly. (Mashable Senior Shopping Reporter Leah Stodart loves her Slushi, and so do all of her friends.) A year after the first Slushi came out, Ninja released two larger capacity versions in a few fun colors. The 88-ounce model on sale for $269.99 at Amazon can make a slightly bigger batch than the original 72-ounce model, which is on sale for $229.99 at Walmart. $40 more for extra beverages and a chic green build? Sold. (If you want the purple one, it's $269.99 at Target.)

If there's one thing Mashable readers love buying on Black Friday, it’s the LifeStraw. It’s a staple of every major sales event, and for good reason. Right now, it’s back down to its Prime Day price of $9.99, which is typically the lowest it goes all year (it's usually around $20). Even if you aren't an avid hiker, this is a must-have for your home emergency kit or bug-out bag. It filters out 99.999999 percent of waterborne bacteria and parasites, so you can drink directly from a stream (or a sketchy tap) safely. At $10, it’s the ultimate practical stocking stuffer.

For Black Friday — the best time of year to sign up for streaming services — Amazon is offering tons of add-on subscription deals for Prime members (or Prime Video subscribers). Our favorite one? The Apple TV+ add-on for just $5.99 per month for 12 months. Usually $12.99 per month, that's $42 in savings. Apple TV+ is where you'll find the most-talked-about show of the year so far, Pluribus. If you don't want to get left behind by the zeitgeist, then you'll need an Apple TV subscription. The savings are only live through Cyber Monday on Dec. 1, so don't drag your feet.

The adorable Grogu with Hover Pram set is expectedly sold out after an incredible 50% discount. But that was hardly Amazon's only good Lego Star Wars deal. While it's not nearly as massive as the now-retired Imperial Star Destroyer that goes for $1,000 on eBay, the smaller Imperial Star Destroyer set is still 18 inches long and still in mega demand — and now at a record-low price as an Amazon Cyber Monday deal. Mini figures include Darth Vader, Commander Praji, an Imperial Gunner, Imperial Navy Trooper, a Stormtrooper, and the one that has fans in a spiral: the ultra-rare Cal Kestis mini fig.

Earn aura points by supporting small businesses this Cyber Weekend: Shop these deals at Amazon and Etsy
From a financial standpoint, it feels so good to save a ton of money during Black Friday weekend. Whether it's clothes, your dream headphones, or a boring stockpile of cleaning products and toilet paper, it's valid to take advantage of cheaper stuff in this more-expensive-than-usual economy.
From a moral standpoint, in that same greedy economy, it doesn't feel so good to give your money to big corporations that definitely don't need it. The antidote? Supporting small businesses while you're at it this Black Friday season. So many of them are having major sales, whether it's for Small Business Saturday (which falls on the Saturday right after Black Friday) or throughout all of Cyber Weekend. Whether you peruse the Black Friday deals from small businesses on Amazon or take a scroll through the massive Etsy Cyber Sale, thoughtful spending is something we should all be sure to do this year.

I know from personal experience how hard it is not to buy 10 Yankee candles any time they're on sale (Yankee Candle is literally running a buy two, get three free deal right now). But it's pretty common knowledge nowadays that most mainstream candles use paraffin wax, and that burning paraffin wax releases toxic chemicals into the air that you and your pets shouldn't be breathing. Instead, consider buying a yummy scented candle from a small business like Sweet Water Decor. These hand-poured soy wax candles skip the toxins while still preserving cozy smells.

Here's how I encrypt my Windows PC without BitLocker
BitLocker is the most common way to encrypt your Windows PC to protect it against data theft in the event that someone steals your PC, but it isn't the only option. If your PC doesn't have BitLocker and you want something more fully-featured than Device Encryption, VeraCrypt is probably the tool for you.

Another year, another long list of changes to Windows that "nudge" you into making choices or adopting behaviors that aren't in your interest. At some point, it really feels like Windows stopped existing to make the actual users of PCs happier, and now serve a different master. I think these changes are the most worrying.

The end of the year is one of the best times to find Apple products on sale. Normally, this MacBook Air would cost $999, but right now, it’s only $169.97, and shipping is even free. Take a look at what it can do.
This MacBook Air is a simple, lightweight laptop that handles the basics without any fuss. The 13.3-inch display is comfortable to look at, and the 1440×900 resolution is solid for writing, browsing, streaming, or juggling a few tabs at once. Streaming just got cheaper: Black Friday deals still live on Hulu, HBO Max, Apple TV, Disney+, and more
Black Friday may technically be over, but the best streaming deals are still going strong. Over the holiday weekend, we'll be hard at work bringing you the top Black Friday deals that are still live. And as we approach Cyber Monday, we'll let you know if any new offers appear.

Nearly every major streamer got more expensive in 2025, including Netflix, Peacock, HBO Max, Apple TV+, YouTube TV, Disney+, Hulu, and Paramount+. So, needless to say, we were extra excited about this year's selection of Black Friday streaming deals. We could all use some discounts, right? The good news is that even with Black Friday itself done and dusted, the deals are still available as we head into Cyber Monday.
The Black Friday sale event is well known as the best time to sign up for streaming services, thanks to serious savings on monthly or annual subscription fees. This year has been no different. If you're looking for a way to cut back on streaming costs for 2026, there's still time to take advantage of majorly discounted subscriptions.
SEE ALSO: 160+ Amazon Black Friday deals: Find record-low prices on AirPods, Kindles, Lego, and LG TVsApple TV+, HBO Max, Disney+, and Hulu have all thrown their hats in the ring with discounts, as have plenty of other streamers via Prime Video add-ons. So you can weigh all of your streaming options for the season. Plus, you still have time to sign up. Most of these offers will be live through Dec. 1.
There are two glaring omissions from this year's Black Friday streaming offers: Netflix and Peacock. Netflix never offers deals, so this comes as no surprise. Peacock, on the other hand, typically offers one of the best Black Friday streaming deals. It's extra disappointing, as the streamer had one of the biggest price hikes in 2025. We included a way you can still get a deal on Peacock below, despite its lack of Cyber Week participation.
One thing to note: Most Black Friday streaming deals are limited to new and returning subscribers (as in you haven't been a subscriber in at least a month or so). If you qualify, you can lock in some serious savings on streaming apps.
Best Black Friday streaming deal overall Opens in a new window Credit: HBO Max HBO Max $2.99/month for 12 months (save $8/month) Get Deal Why we like itIn a shocking turn of events, the HBO Max Black Friday deal in 2025 actually beats its streaming deal from 2024 and 2023. This year, new and returning subscribers can sign up for 12 months of HBO Max Basic with ads for $2.99 per month through Dec. 1. That's just $35.88 for the whole year and about 73% in savings. In 2023 and 2024, the streamer only offered this discounted price for six months. So, not only are you getting double the subscription length for a discount, but you're also saving even more after its recent price hike (up to $10.99/month from $9.99/month).
The Warner Bros. Discovery-owned streaming service is one of our favorites. Not only is it home to Warner Bros. films, but also new A24 theatrical releases, a ton of excellent original series (like The Last of Us, The Pitt, and IT: Welcome to Derry), and even live sports via the B/R Sports add-on.
Psst: If you don't want to deal with logging into another streaming service, this deal is also available in the form of a Prime Video or Hulu add-on.
Best Black Friday streaming bundle deal Opens in a new window Credit: Hulu / Disney+ Disney+ and Hulu (with ads) $4.99/month for 12 months (save $8/month) Get Deal Why we like itWhile we're pretty disappointed that Hulu didn't resurrect its 99 cents deal for 2025, this bundle deal almost makes up for it. Through Dec. 1, new and returning subscribers can score both Disney+ and Hulu with ads for just $4.99 per month for 12 months. Usually $12.99 per month for both, that's $8 per month in savings or $96 total.
We saw the same bundle drop to only $2.99 during Black Friday 2024, but both streamers raised their prices this year, so the Black Friday deal has been appropriately adjusted for inflation. And considering each streamer is $11.99 per month on its own, this is an excellent deal. It's also a good way to lock in a solid price for the year since Disney and Hulu will eventually be merged into a single app — with a higher price tag, no doubt. And hey, maybe we'll still be surprised with the 99-cent Hulu deal for Cyber Monday.
Best Apple TV+ Black Friday deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple TV+ (Prime Video add-on) $5.99/month for 6 months (save $42) Get Deal Why we like itApple TV+, just like several other streamers, raised its subscription cost by 30 percent a few months back, from $9.99 to $12.99 per month. So this deal, which knocks the price down to only $5.99 per month for half a year, is much appreciated. You can take advantage of this deal directly at Apple TV+ or in the form of a Prime Video add-on, meaning you need to be a Prime member or Prime Video subscriber.
Apple TV+ features a virtually all-original lineup filled with Emmy-winners like The Studio, Ted Lasso, Severance, and The Morning Show, and Oscar-winners and nominees like CODA and Killers of the Flower Moon. TL;DR: You'll get more than your money's worth with this Black Friday deal. Just don't drag your feet — it's only around until Cyber Monday on Dec. 1.
Best Black Friday live TV streaming deal Opens in a new window Credit: Sling Sling Orange Day Pass $1$4.99 Save $3.99 Get Deal Why we like it
Sling's Day Pass is a solid way to tune into live sports, events, and shows without having to splurge on a full subscription. Sometimes you just want to watch a single game and be on your way. It's usually $4.99 for a day, but for Black Friday, Sling is offering its Orange Day Pass for only $1 through Dec. 1 at 3 a.m. ET. The Orange package includes ESPN and all its affiliates, TNT, TBS, AMC, IFC, and more. That means you'll be able to tune into live college football rivalry games on ESPN this weekend — like Georgia Tech vs. Georgia on Friday and Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee and Alabama vs. Auburn on Saturday — for just a buck.
Best Black Friday music streaming deal Opens in a new window Credit: Spotify Spotify Premium Free for 4 months (save $11.99/month) Get Deal Why we like itIt's not uncommon to see Amazon offering its music streaming service, Amazon Music Unlimited, for free during shopping events (this year, you can get three free months). It is, however, quite rare for Spotify to offer its Premium service for free. Through Dec. 31, new subscribers can score four free months of Spotify Premium, no questions asked. Typically $11.99 per month, that saves you nearly $50 total.
With a Premium account, you can enjoy ad-free listening, collaborate with friends in real time, download music for offline listening, get full control over your music and playlists, unlock 15 hours per month of audiobook time, and finally enjoy lossless audio. You'll also gain access to the famous Wrapped stats and new weekly listening stats.

Home Depot is still giving away free cordless tools for Black Friday — see BOGO offers on DeWalt, Ryobi, Milwaukee
Some dads only want one thing for Christmas: A Home Depot gift card. Well, here's something easier than picking out Christmas gifts for dads — a buy-one-get-one tool deal from the Home Depot.
Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy get a lot of attention for their annual Black Friday sales, but we're here to put some respect on the Home Depot's name. Just like last year, the Home Depot is giving away free cordless tools with eligible purchases in an epic BOGO promotion. As part of this buy-one-get-one sale, you can pick up a cordless drill, an extra battery and charger pack, a cordless leaf blower, a circular saw, and tons more tools with your purchase. The extra tool is absolutely free with an eligible purchase.
All you have to do is pick out a qualifying "main item" and the free tool of your choice will be included in your order. A ton of top-rated Ryobi, DeWalt, and Milwaukee products are available as freebies in this promotion. Here's an example of how it works: Add an item like the Milwaukee Cordless Hammer Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit to your cart, and then you'll be able to select a free gift with purchase. Options include a $200 portable tire inflator, a $279 nail gun, or a $199 reciprocating saw, also from Milwaukee.

That includes some of the most popular TVs from the biggest brands.
In particular, some of Samsung's The Frame TVs have dropped to seriously low prices. If you're unfamiliar with these TVs, they double as an art display when you're not watching, so you can throw up some nice artwork or photos to display when the TV isn't being used.

It also comes with Samsung's Vision AI and Pantone Validated Artful Color. To learn more, check out our breakdown of what to know about Samsung's The Frame Pro from when it was released.

What do people actually buy on Black Friday? Here are the most-bought items by Mashable readers in 2025.
After being terrorized by constant Black Friday ads on our phones, TVs, and inboxes for a month straight, one has to wonder: Of all of the best Black Friday deals, what do people actually buy on Black Friday? Are Black Friday classics like TVs on sale actually the most popular purchase, or is everyone thinking ahead by stocking up on cleaning supplies and toilet paper?
For Mashable readers, the most popular Black Friday deals were more of a brand thing. Apple and DJI dominated much of the top of the list of our most-bought items, with several grocery deals creeping in a little further down. (What's everyone making with all of that damn Amazon brand cream cheese?) But it was a Pokémon Elite Trainer Box sitting in the number one spot. If you know anyone who's big on Pokémon cards, you've probably heard the term "Mega Evolutions" at least once or twice. Yep, the top item had to do with that.
SEE ALSO: Are Amazon's Cyber Monday prices better than Black Friday? Our shopping experts say the answer is clear.Below, we're breaking down the top Black Friday items that Mashable swarmed to on Friday, Nov. 28 itself. If any of this convinces you to make the same purchase, just know that most of these popular Black Friday deals are still live (though they may be called Cyber Monday deals now).
Pokémon TCG Mega Evolutions 1 Elite Trainer Box Opens in a new window Credit: Pokémon Pokémon TCG Mega Evolutions Elite Trainer Box $105 at AmazonShop Now
The most serious Pokémon card collectors will camp out outside of a GameStop if they have to, but the option to simply buy a coveted new release at Amazon is clearly preferred. Mashable readers hustled when we let them know that the Mega Evolutions 1 Elite Trainer Box dropped below market value to $79.69 on Nov. 28. It's now back up to $105, but it's somehow still in stock.
The Mega Evolutions Booster Bundle, readers' second most purchased item on Black Friday, is also still in stock at $64.95.
Apple AirPods 4 Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple AirPods 4 $69 at Amazon$129 Save $60 Get Deal
We can pretty confidently crown the $69 AirPods as the most nuts Black Friday Apple deal. That's a 47% price drop from their usual $129, and by Apple's standards, a sale price like $69 is basically giving them away.
The AirPods 4 with ANC were also quite popular with readers, and they're still at their record-low price of $139.99 at Amazon.
DJI Mic Mini Opens in a new window Credit: DJI DJI Mic Mini (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) $79.99 at Amazon$169.99 Save $90.00 Learn More
This is everyone's year to become a content creator, huh? The DJI Mic Mini was easily the favorite Black Friday DJI deal of Mashable readers, specifically the bundle that includes one receiver and two mics/transmitters. It makes sense: DJI's super lightweight pocket microphone system is such an easy way to make recorded audio sound better, as Lead Shopping Reporter Bethany Allard can confirm.
The 2 TX + 1 RX Mic Mini has sold out at Amazon but is still available on sale for $79.99 at Best Buy.
Apple AirTag Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple AirTag $17 at Amazon$29 Save $12 Get Deal
After the AirPods 4, the humble Apple AirTag was the second most popular Apple item amongst Mashable readers. No surprises here — knowing the physical location of your wallet, backpack, or luggage is essentially buying peace of mind. AirTags make a great gift idea for just about anyone, and at $17 a pop for Black Friday, why not grab a few?
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select $19.99$39.99 Save $20.00 Get Deal
Out of all of the Echo devices, Fire Tablets, and Kindles on sale, the most popular Amazon device deal among Mashable readers was actually the Fire TV Stick 4K Select (Amazon's newest and most budget-friendly Fire stick). The 50% off deal on the newest Fire TV Stick is too good to pass up — surely the fleeting promo code that brought it down to just $9.99 drove numbers, too.
Windows 11's newest bug just made signing in so much harder
Windows 11 users are getting a frustrating new bug that completely hides the password sign-in option on the lock screen, making it incredibly difficult to log into their PCs. This isn't a total lockout, but it's certainly a massive headache if you use a real password.
