The Dyson OnTrac headphones received a rare $100 discount
Save $100: As of June 9, Amazon marked down the Dyson OnTrac headphones to $399, giving them a rare 20% discount on their $500 list price.
Dyson OnTrac headphones $399 at Amazon$499 Save $100 Get Deal
Dyson is known for making expensive products, but they're intended to perform at the top of their field.
As their (re-)entry into the headphone space, their OnTrac headphones checked both boxes. But at $499, they were hard to recommend without some stipulations. Thanks to a discount from Amazon, as of June 9, you can grab the Dyson OnTrac headphones for just $399, putting them at a slightly more accessible price point on-par with other premium options on the market.
A few quick points of comparison: at full price, the Apple AirPods Max go for $549, the recently released Sony WH-1000XM6 go for $450, and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones go for $429. In other words, the OnTrac headphones aren't wildly out of line with their price point.
SEE ALSO: I tried my AirPods Max headphones' new lossless audio ability: Does it really work?Like their competitors, these headphones come with excellent active noise cancellation and sound quality. In his review, Mashable Tech Editor Timothy Beck Werth wrote of these headphones: "The sound really does sound true to life, and I've been listening on the Bass Boost mode because I have weak hearing on the low end of the spectrum. I can appreciate entirely new details in some of my favorite songs, and I've been listening to more music than I have in years thanks to these headphones."
However, these headphones blow the battery life of their competition out of the water, offering 55 hours with noise cancelling on. From the group above, the best battery life clocks in at about 30 hours with ANC.
That's not to say they're perfect: the design is definitely bold, and won't be to everyone's taste. You do have some degree of customizability with swappable ear plates and cushions, but you will have to purchase additional components separately. They also prominently feature the Dyson logo on the headphone, which isn't a vibe for people who prefer more understated headphones. Werth also found the multipoint pairing to be especially lackluster, which really shouldn't be an issue on $500 headphones.
Still, some of these cons are much easier to live with at a more palatable $400 price point.

Grab the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 while theyre back down at their lowest price ever

Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 $199.95 at Amazon$249.95 Save $50 Get Deal
There are few situations more annoying than being mid-workout and constantly having to readjust your earbuds so they don't slip out. Maybe that's only beat by someone being way too loud next to you at the gym. Or forgetting your fitness tracker at home.
In the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds, the brand aims to solve all three problems. And as of June 9, you can get these earbuds on sale for just $199.95 at Amazon, putting them $50 below their full price of $249.95.
SEE ALSO: The 9 best earbuds to buy in 2025, selected by Mashable expertsSo what exactly makes the Powerbeats especially well-suited as exercise earbuds? Like many pairs of open earbuds, they come with an ear hook for keeping them firmly in place. But unlike open earbuds, the Powerbeats also have an in-ear design, which allows them to use active noise cancellation. I've tested these earbuds very briefly, so while I can't speak to the full experience of using them, I can speak to their noise cancelling doing a better job than I'd expect any pair of workout earbuds to do.
I also found that while they can be a bit awkward to put on at first, once you find the right tip earbud and angle, these earbuds are comfortable and secure enough for workouts. However, they might cause some soreness after multiple hours of wear.
SEE ALSO: The most comfortable headphones we've ever tested will take care of your earsThese earbuds also come with a built-in heart rate monitor. You do have to use both earbuds to get a reading, but our sister site PC Mag (also owned by Ziff Davis) found that the "performance is more or less in line with the Apple Watch."
For anyone who finds touch controls a little too sensitive or unreliable, especially mid-workout, the Powerbeats Pro 2 come with tactile touch controls, minimizing the chances you'll accidentally pause your music over and over again. As any good workout earbud should be, they're sweat resistant and splash proof, with an IPX4 rating. Apple's H2 chip gives the earbuds fast and reliable Bluetooth connection with any Apple device, making them even easier to use.
Honestly, these earbuds biggest drawback is the price. At $249.95, they cost the same as a pair of AirPods Pro, but with a few specialized features, they may be a great fit for anyone looking for a good pair of workout earbuds — especially if you grab them on sale.
Record-low price alert: The Beats Pill just dropped to $99 at Amazon

The Beats Pill got a much-needed update last year after nearly a decade and addressed all of the shortcomings of its predecessor. The new model is much more impressive and comes at a more affordable $149.95. Even better, it's currently on sale for 34% off.
As of June 9, you can pick up the Beats Pill in champagne gold, matte black, light grey, or dark grey for only $99 instead of $149.95. That's over $50 in savings and a new record-low price for the portable speaker. It's dropped down to $99.95 several times, but this is the first time it's hit $99 since its release last year.
The 2024 Beats Pill features angled drivers, hefty bass, a capable speakerphone, a waterproof design, and a lengthy 24-hour battery life, making it a particularly good pick for poolside hangs. Mashable's sister sites PCMag and CNET both tested the speaker and had mostly positive things to say. PCMag even gave it an Editors' Choice Award, "thanks to its portable, outdoor-ready design, high-quality wired and wireless sound, and seamless compatibility with Apple's product ecosystem."
At full cost, the Beats Pill is a good portable speaker. At a record-low $99, it's a great portable speaker — particularly for Apple users.

Oh, Hi! trailer: Molly Gordon goes full Misery on Logan Lerman
A romantic getaway goes terribly, terribly wrong in Oh, Hi!, which premiered at 2025's Sundance Film Festival.
SEE ALSO: Summer Movie Preview: What's coming to theaters and streaming?Written and directed by Sophie Brooks, this dark comedy stars Molly Gordon (Theater Camp) as Iris, a young woman who's found her dream guy in Isaac (Logan Lerman). The pair embark on their first trip together, heading to a gorgeous lakeside cottage. However, their milestone vacation quickly becomes Iris' nightmare when Isaac tells her he's not actually looking for a relationship — even though she fully thought they were a couple.
As the trailer for Oh, Hi! reveals, Iris and Isaac have this conversation mid-sex, while Isaac is handcuffed to the bed. As Iris spirals about being stuck in a dreaded situationship, she decides to take the rest of the weekend to prove to Isaac that they should be an official couple. The catch? She's going to keep him handcuffed so that he can't leave her. Think of it as Stephen King's Misery for the modern dating era.
Watch the full trailer above to see the lengths Iris will go to in order to keep Isaac for herself. From making French toast — which she's not even sure he likes — to keeping him in a face mask for a bit too long, there's no shortage of uncomfortable cringe comedy to enjoy.
Oh, Hi! also stars Geraldine Viswanathan, John Reynolds, and David Cross.

WWDC 2025 rumor: MacOS Tahoe might run on fewer Macs than expected
The latest rumor about World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) is that Apple's new operating system could support even fewer Macs than previously expected.
As tech-focused outlet Tom's Guide wrote, rumors have long suggested the new MacOS will be called Tahoe and that it'll drop support for older MacBooks and Macs. The models that were expected to be dropped were the 2017 iMac Pro, 2018 Mac mini, 2018 MacBook Pro models, and 2020 MacBook Airs with Intel chips. MacRumors, however, published a report indicating that the new OS could also drop support for the 2020, 13-inch MacBook Pro with two Thunderbolt 3 ports.
This report, however, comes with a major caveat. MacRumors' report cited "a private account on X with a proven track record of leaking information about Apple's software platforms," and the account also apparently wrote it didn't "quite believe" that Apple would actually drop OS support for the model.
SEE ALSO: Everything we know about iOS 26 ahead of Apple WWDC 2025In short, this is very much a rumor and not a fact. That's not to say it definitely isn't true, just that there still remains uncertainty ahead of Apple's WWDC keynote on Monday.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, which has recently been tasked by the Trump administration to expand its crackdown on immigration and enforce the U.S. president's "mass deportations" election promise, confirmed in a statement to Mashable that Lame was detained for overstaying his visa.
"U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Seringe Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy, June 6, at the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada for immigration violations," a spokesperson said. "Lame entered the United States April 30 and overstayed the terms of his visa. Lame was granted voluntary departure June 6 and has since departed the U.S."

If you're looking for a tablet that can do it all and you aren't tied to the fruit logo, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10+ is a beast. Seriously, this thing is more impressive than my laptop. And as of June 9, it's on sale for $170 off.
Typically a $1,119.99 tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10+ with 512GB and WiFi connectivity is down to $949.99 at Amazon on June 9. That's a savings of 15%. While that's not its lowest price to date, it certainly beats paying full price.
Not yet a year old, the Galaxy Tab S10+ features a new and improved speaker setup with enhanced AI-powered "Dialogue Boost," heavy Galaxy AI, a lighter build, and a change in processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon to MediaTek Dimensity 9300+. Oddly enough, MediaTek is known for being packed inside budget devices — and the S10+ is far from a budget device. Our friends at PCMag (also owned by Ziff Davis) tested it out and thankfully found the processor to "handle everything from video calls and drawing to gaming and productivity" seamlessly, even awarding it a spot on their Best of the Year list for 2024.
Its battery power outlasted the iPad Pro in PCMag's tests and its vivid 12.4-inch display with a resolution of 2,800 by 1,752 pixels rivals the Apple tablet. Impressive 12GB of RAM, excellent multitasking software, an included S Pen, and an IP68 durability rating round out its features. For Android fans seeking a high-end tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10+ is one of the best — particularly when it's on sale.

SEE ALSO: The best robot vacuum mop combos of 2025 so far, tested on my own tile and hardwoodThe Ecovacs Deebot X9 Pro Omni robot vacuum and mop has a 16,600Pa “Blast airflow” suction power (which, according to the manufacturer, is 38 percent more airflow) to get dirt and debris from hard-to-reach places. The ZeroTangle 3.0 tech uses a V-shaped roller brush and anti-tangle side brushes to cut through hair that would otherwise get wrapped around the brush. There’s also a triple-lift system that automatically raises the mop when it goes onto carpets or rugs, lifts the side brushes for bigger messes, and even lifts the main brush to make sure it's not just pushing dirt around. (The Ozmo roller also self-washes while it mops.)
This model comes with a docking station where it can sit for up to 150 days without you needing to do a thing. It auto-refills its water tank, hot washes and dries the mops, and empties the dustbin. All you have to do is refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty one every so often.
