Drones have been all over the news lately, mainly due of DJI. While it's not official yet, it's possible that DJI drones will face a ban come December. Yes, December as in just a few weeks away. That means shopping Black Friday sales could be your last chance to snag a DJI drone, for a while at least.

Of course, this is 2025, and nothing is unexpected, so the buzz of a DJI ban could get swept off the table in an instant. But to be sure, consider this a great time to buy a new DJI drone, or any drone, for that matter.

Amazon's Black Friday sale officially kicked off on Nov. 20, a full week ahead of Black Friday proper. But as you probably know at this point, the actual dates of the sale are blurred beyond recognition. Many deals, particularly on Amazon's own devices, were already live days before the event — and will likely stick around after all is said and done. Other than Prime Day, Black Friday season is the best time of year to score an Amazon device for cheap.

Plenty of Fire tablets, Fire TVs, Fire TV Sticks, and Blink security cameras hit record-low prices early on. We were particularly impressed by the Fire TV deals, with some 2025 models up to $210 off. Not to mention the best Fire Stick deal I've personally ever seen is still going strong. Echo speakers and smart displays, as well as Kindles, were slower to trickle in, but have now dropped to truly epic all-time lows as well.

Amazon's best iPad competitor and our favorite Fire tablet, the Fire Max 11, is down to $189.99 (for the version with double storage) at Amazon during its Black Friday sale — more than 30% in savings. As Mashable's reviewer noted, "The Amazon Fire Max 11 has a large, 11-inch display and is blazing fast, making it a good alternative to pricier tablets for streaming and games." It also features 8MP cameras that support 1080p video, an octa-core processor, WiFi 6 compatibility, and a 14-hour battery life. While it is a couple of years old, it's the newest generation of the tablet available. (The 64GB model is currently sold out after a popular 39% early Black Friday discount. I've said it before, but the basic Kindle is my pride and joy, and I annoyingly recommend it to everyone I talk to. I projected it would drop to $79.99 for Black Friday, and I've never been so pleased to be right. That's $30 cheaper than usual and its best price to date. The basic Kindle is the most compact Amazon e-reader — it's small enough to slip into my purse — and has the same screen resolution and paper-like display as its more expensive sibling. The only downside is it's not waterproof, so just be extra careful when reading near water.

When Black Friday rolls around each year, I always keep my eye out for significant discounts on premium tech. Black Friday may not officially begin until Nov. 28, but since the start of the month, we've been seeing a wide range of early-access deals on big brands like DJI. If you're looking for premium, DJI is a good place to start.

DJI features heavily in Black Friday sales, especially with the sale just a few days away. So far, I spotted discounts on the DJI Mic Mini, the DJI Osmo 360 camera, and the DJI Air 3 drone, just to name a few popular products. As Mashable has reported, a total ban on DJI drones in the United States could be implemented by the end of the year. With that uncertainty floating in the air, heavy discounts on DJI are needed now more than ever.

If you're a content creator looking to add an action camera to your setup, this discount on the DJI Osmo 360 is well worth a look. Drone deals are something the Mashable team is keeping a close eye on over Black Friday, and DJI is no exception. One of the best we spotted so far is on the DJI Mini 4K Drone Combo.

Mashable's team had hoped to see the Mini 4K drone go on sale, and while it did briefly drop down to $239, it has since gone back up to $299. However, if you're able to invest a bit more, the combo set is $80 off for Prime members, and comes with a shoulder bag, two batteries, and a propeller holder, making it more convenient to take on the go (and giving you an additional 31 minutes of battery life over the non-combo version). You'll also get access to the same 4K video and three-axis gimbal stabilization you would on the cheaper drone.

We consider the DJI Power 2000 to be the best portable power station for content creators, as it "proved its worth as a multi-tasker, charging up a phone and camera battery and cooking dinner in the air fryer at the same time." It's normally listed for $1,299, but this Black Friday deal shaves its price nearly in half, bringing it down to $699 (which amounts to a 47% discount). I didn't know what to expect from Amazon's Black Friday Kindle Deals, but I'm blown away. Every device has dropped to its lowest price ever, and there are some major standouts. The Kindle e-reader with the best discount is the Kindle Colorsoft. It's down to $169.99, saving an astounding $80 off its $249.99 price tag. While I wouldn't recommend buying the device at full price, I think it's an exceptional deal ahead of Black Friday.

The Colorsoft has all the perks of a Paperwhite; it's waterproof, has adjustable warmth and brightness, and has an extremely long battery life of eight weeks. But the bonus? It has full color displays so you can enjoy graphic novels and book covers in full detail.

However, if you're not into the Colorsoft, there are plenty of other stellar deals to shop, including the basic Kindle down to its lowest price ever.

Thanksgiving has a special significance this year. It's been 10 years since Wanda Dench and Jamal Hinton first spent the holiday together, sparked by a wrong number and a viral text message exchange. Now the internet's favourite grandma and guest have issued their annual update, and as expected, it looks as though their unlikely friendship is still going strong.

Now 68 and 26, Dench and Hinton first met in 2016 after the former attempted to invite her grandson to Thanksgiving dinner via a text message. However, Dench was unaware that said grandson had recently changed his number, causing her invitation to be delivered to Hinton instead. 

A 17-year-old teenager at the time, Hinton quickly cleared up the mix up, jokingly asking if he could come along and grab a plate as well.

"Of course you can," Dench replied. "That's what grandma's [sic] do... feed every one."

The text exchange went viral after Hinton shared it on X (then Twitter), starting Dench and Hinton's decade-long tradition of spending Thanksgiving together. It has also become an internet tradition to check in on the duo simply to enjoy the good vibes. In fact, their Thanksgiving tradition has become so well-known that in 2021 Netflix announced that it is making a film based on their story.

Though Dench's X account was hacked a few years back, Hinton has dutifully continued to keep us posted on their Thanksgiving plans. This year, Hinton's update also included a photo of him and Dench together in 2016, recalling the year it all began. The pair's Thanksgiving meals have evolved since then, Dench and Hinton partnering with Green Giant canned vegetables for 2025's feast.

Seeing Hinton and Dench's Thanksgiving tradition continue is exactly the heartwarming update many were hoping for. Here's to many more.

Thanksgiving is upon us once more, marking an important time of year for turkeys and dogs alike (albeit in a very different way). NBC continued its tradition of airing the National Dog Show after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, treating canine lovers to a delightful parade of paws.

Held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, the Kennel Club of Philadelphia's National Dog Show actually took place a few weeks ago on Nov. 15 and 16. Fortunately, NBC was on the scene as always, dutifully documenting the dogs for all those not in attendance. 

This year saw the National Dog Show's largest entry list since 2019, with 1994 dogs across 201 different breeds taking part. As always, these pups were sorted into seven separate divisions: Herding, Hound, Non-Sporting, Sporting, Terrier, Toy, and Working. Each group awards one winner, with the Best in Show chosen from among these seven top dogs.

To determine the winners, the National Dog Show's furry contestants were assessed according to how closely they resembled the judges' "mental image of the perfect dog as described in the breed’s official standard." While technically every dog is a perfect dog, the judges specifically consider their "overall appearance, temperament and structure" of the canine, "looking for characteristics that allow the dog to perform the function for which his or her breed was bred."

This year, the title of the 2025 National Dog Show's Best in Show was awarded to Soleil, a six-year-old Belgian Sheepdog. Winner of the Herding Group, this magnificent black pup beat out the best of the other six categories — no small feat considering that each was ranked No. 1 in the U.S. for their breed. Even so, Soleil's showmanship apparently gained her an edge.

"She was looking around confidently," said the National Dog Show's co-host David Frei. "She owned the ground she stood over."

"Didn’t put its foot down wrong. Didn’t miss a beat. And it is in drop-dead gorgeous condition," said judge Charlie Olvis.

Along with receiving a Best in Show ribbon recognising her as a very good girl, Soleil also wins a $2,000 cash prize.

Anyone who's had even a cursory brush with online shopping in the last few weeks has noticed the shift — Black Friday 2025 is here.

The shopping holiday, which could more accurately be described as a shopping mega-event, has retailers dropping sales all throughout the month of November and into early December. The days of lining up outside of your local Target in the freezing late-night hours of Thanksgiving are long gone. The sheer amount of savings that can be found online during Black Friday and Cyber Week is unmatched by any other sale.

Great as the savings potential may be, it's an overwhelming amount of information for any normal person to take in. But that's exactly the type of chaos that our team of shopping experts is used to, and we've been sourcing the Black Friday deals worth your money around the clock. We've also created this guide to Black Friday to give you the professional inside scoop on how to make the most out of the sales, from tracking store opening times to price matching policies to tips on how to fact-check sale price history. When is Black Friday 2025 officially?

The actual date of Black Friday falls on Friday, Nov. 28. However, most retailers' sales are live before and after the actual day of Black Friday. Here are some of the major retailer sales we're tracking this year:

• Amazon: Amazon's Black Friday sale starts Thursday, Nov. 20, and ends on Monday, Dec. 1.

• Best Buy: In-stores and online from Thursday, Nov. 20 to Friday, Nov. 29.

• Walmart: Online only from Tuesday, Nov. 25 to Thursday, Nov. 27; online and in-store from Friday, Nov. 28 to Sunday, Nov. 30; online only for Cyber Monday on Dec. 1.

• Target: Target's Black Friday sale starts Sunday, Nov. 23, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 29. Stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day. More deals will drop from Nov. 27 to Nov. 29.

When do stores open on Black Friday?

Seasoned shoppers are painfully aware that in-store Black Friday shopping hours start early. While "the crack of dawn" isn't exactly specific enough, the main retailers are making it easy this year: Best Buy, Walmart, and Target stores all open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday 2025, or Nov. 28. Here's a quick rundown of each big store's Black Friday hours into Cyber Weekend hours, all in your local time:

Best Buy: Best Buy opens at 6 a.m. on Black Friday 2025, closing at 10 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 29, Best Buy opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 30, Best Buy opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. On Cyber Monday, Best Buy opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m.

Walmart: Walmart opens at 6 a.m. on Black Friday 2025 and closes at 11 p.m., following the retailer's regular business hours. Walmart's Cyber Weekend store hours follow this same schedule. Double-check the normal business hours of your local Walmart.

Target: Target opens at 6 a.m. on Black Friday 2025 and closes at regular closing time, which is typically 11 p.m. on weekends. Target will be open at its regular weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday, which is usually 7 or 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Times vary by location.

How long do Black Friday sales last?

Though Black Friday deals start weeks early, most sales wrap up with Cyber Monday, which this year falls on Monday, Dec. 1. Historically, we have seen some deals linger into Tuesday (and sometimes even the rest of what's called Cyber Week), but if that's the case, we'll be sure to track any markdowns in our ongoing deals coverage.

Though the when of Black Friday has changed over the years, the what of Black Friday stays true to its origins. That's to say, if you're shopping for tech gadgets, appliances, home and kitchen products, toys, or even cars, then Black Friday will likely be the best time of the year to shop. In terms of tech, we especially recommend taking advantage of Black Friday deals on TVs, laptops, headphones, Apple products, Amazon devices, and robot vacuums, all of which typically see new record-low sale prices for the year during Black Friday.

Granted, nothing is really off limits on Black Friday — you're likely to find pretty much anything under the sun on sale during the shopping holiday. We've spotted lots of unbeatable deals on outdoor and camping gear, Lego and toys, gaming consoles, stocking stuffers, and reusable water bottles on sale in years' past.

In particular, the biggest Black Friday discounts in 2025 are on these products:

Do any stores price-match Black Friday deals?

Short answer: not really, or at least, not against each other. Long answer: Earlier this year, Target ended its price-matching policy, which allowed customers to price-match from competitors' stock at the time of purchase or within 14 days. Target stood alone as the sole retailer with an official price-matching policy last Black Friday.

This year, Target still has its holiday price match policy, which allows you to price match against Target's own prices, from Nov. 1 to Dec. 24. That means if you buy something at Target and it gets discounted later, you can get still get the discount. Best Buy also offers a price match policy year-round, but it excludes products on sale from "the Thursday before Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving," essentially excluding them from Black Friday price matching. Amazon and Walmart offer no price match policies.

How to shop smart on Black Friday

It's easy to get caught up in the swarm of markdowns and record-low prices that pop up during Black Friday. The best way to avoid buyer's remorse and actually score the savings you want? Come in with a plan and understanding the tools at your disposal. Here's what we mean:

Make a game plan

This may seem basic, but making a list of what you're shopping for can go such a long way to avoid deals FOMO. Begin by creating a list for yourself, and then consider what holiday gifts you need to purchase. This can help you whittle down the absolute essentials of what you want to grab.

That said, it's also great to have a general understanding of what will be available, so take a peek at the latest Black Friday ad scans (again, ideally after you've made your own list). For your convenience, we've perused the major ones, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Lowe's, and Home Depot.

As a final step, having a sense of your holiday shopping budget can be helpful in avoiding overspending (or at the very least, having some awareness that it's happening).

Organize your Amazon wishlist

In line with making a game plan, you'll want to dust off your Amazon wishlist and make sure it's up to date. Amazon has convenient wishlist alert features, which can definitely come in handy during the chaos of Black Friday.

Download retailer apps

As annoying as having too many apps on your phone can be, downloading apps from retailers like Best Buy and Walmart can make shopping easier and give you access to exclusive deals. That's especially true for Best Buy, which likes to offer limited-time deals available only on its app.

Use price tracking tools

Tracking a product's price history is a pretty fool-proof way to make sure the Black Friday price you're seeing is actually that product's lowest price of the year. The unanimous favorite of the Mashable Shopping team is camelcamelcamel, an Amazon price tracking tool that details essential knowledge like that item's sale price history throughout the rest of the year.

If you're seeing a good Black Friday deal at another retailer like Best Buy or Walmart, you can still check that product's price history at Amazon to see if Best Buy or Walmart is actually offering a new and exciting price. For example, that's how we found out that Best Buy's Black Friday deal on the coveted 65-inch LG C5 isn't that special — the same TV had been at that Black Friday price on Amazon since October.

Which day has cheaper deals, Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

While these were once two distinct days of deals, the month-long-ifcation of Black Friday essentially means that both Black Friday and Cyber Monday get wrapped up into one long wave of discounts to punctuate the end of the month. That's not to say what's available on Black Friday will absolutely be better or worse than what's available on Cyber Monday.

Historically, we've seen really good TV deals on Black Friday sell out by Cyber Monday, while laptop deals tend to stick around (and therefore, be worth holding out for any additional price drops come Cyber Monday). It's nearly here! Black Friday, that is. After weeks of anticipation, we're now just hours away from the biggest shopping event of the year. While Black Friday falls on Nov. 28 this year, the big retailers have already taken quite the head start on the sale.

Best Buy dropped early deals and doorbusters starting Oct. 31, and Target started its first holiday savings event on Nov. 6. Now, both Walmart and Amazon have joined the fray, delivering record prices on AirPods, Apple Watches, Kindles, Legos, Ninja appliances, and Samsung TVs. The Ninja Slushi is a blast in any season — frozen margs in any flavor you want when it's hot, apple cider slush or gingerbread frappé when it's chilly. A year after the first Slushi came out, Ninja released two larger capacity versions in a few fun colors. The 88-ounce model on sale for $229.99 at Amazon can make a slightly bigger batch than the original 72-ounce model, which is on sale for $249.99 at Walmart. $20 more for extra beverages and a chic green build? Black Friday is upon us! It’s a major shopping event that takes place in the United States every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving. This year, Black Friday is Nov. 28.

This is typically when people begin their holiday shopping season, and retailers offer huge discounts both online and in-store. However, Black Friday has grown bigger than just one day. Typically, deals will start to appear throughout November, especially during the week of Thanksgiving and into Cyber Monday, a day highlighting online-exclusive discounts.

If you like playing daily word games like Wordle, then Hurdle is a great game to add to your routine.

There are five rounds to the game. The first round sees you trying to guess the word, with correct, misplaced, and incorrect letters shown in each guess. If you guess the correct answer, it'll take you to the next hurdle, providing the answer to the last hurdle as your first guess. This can give you several clues or none, depending on the words. For the final hurdle, every correct answer from previous hurdles is shown, with correct and misplaced letters clearly shown.

An important note is that the number of times a letter is highlighted from previous guesses does necessarily indicate the number of times that letter appears in the final hurdle.

The shopping holiday, which could more accurately be described as a shopping mega-event, has retailers dropping sales all throughout the month of November and into early December. The days of lining up outside of your local Target in the freezing late-night hours of Thanksgiving are long gone. The sheer amount of savings that can be found online during Black Friday and Cyber Week is unmatched by any other sale.

Great as the savings potential may be, it's an overwhelming amount of information for any normal person to take in. But that's exactly the type of chaos that our team of shopping experts is used to, and we've been sourcing the Black Friday deals worth your money around the clock. We've also created this guide to Black Friday to give you the professional inside scoop on how to make the most out of the sales, from tracking store opening times to price matching policies to tips on how to fact-check sale price history. When is Black Friday 2025 officially?

The actual date of Black Friday falls on Friday, Nov. 28. However, most retailers' sales are live before and after the actual day of Black Friday. Here are some of the major retailer sales we're tracking this year:

• Amazon: Amazon's Black Friday sale starts Thursday, Nov. 20, and ends on Monday, Dec. 1.

• Best Buy: In-stores and online from Thursday, Nov. 20 to Friday, Nov. 29.

• Walmart: Online only from Tuesday, Nov. 25 to Thursday, Nov. 27; online and in-store from Friday, Nov. 28 to Sunday, Nov. 30; online only for Cyber Monday on Dec. 1.

• Target: Target's Black Friday sale starts Sunday, Nov. 23, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 29. Stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day. More deals will drop from Nov. 27 to Nov. 29.

When do stores open on Black Friday?

Seasoned shoppers are painfully aware that in-store Black Friday shopping hours start early. While "the crack of dawn" isn't exactly specific enough, the main retailers are making it easy this year: Best Buy, Walmart, and Target stores all open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday 2025, or Nov. 28. Here's a quick rundown of each big store's Black Friday hours into Cyber Weekend hours, all in your local time:

Best Buy: Best Buy opens at 6 a.m. on Black Friday 2025, closing at 10 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 29, Best Buy opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 30, Best Buy opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. On Cyber Monday, Best Buy opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m.

Walmart: Walmart opens at 6 a.m. on Black Friday 2025 and closes at 11 p.m., following the retailer's regular business hours. Walmart's Cyber Weekend store hours follow this same schedule. Double-check the normal business hours of your local Walmart.

Target: Target opens at 6 a.m. on Black Friday 2025 and closes at regular closing time, which is typically 11 p.m. on weekends. Target will be open at its regular weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday, which is usually 7 or 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Times vary by location.

How long do Black Friday sales last?

Though Black Friday deals start weeks early, most sales wrap up with Cyber Monday, which this year falls on Monday, Dec. 1. Historically, we have seen some deals linger into Tuesday (and sometimes even the rest of what's called Cyber Week), but if that's the case, we'll be sure to track any markdowns in our ongoing deals coverage.

Though the when of Black Friday has changed over the years, the what of Black Friday stays true to its origins. That's to say, if you're shopping for tech gadgets, appliances, home and kitchen products, toys, or even cars, then Black Friday will likely be the best time of the year to shop. In terms of tech, we especially recommend taking advantage of Black Friday deals on TVs, laptops, headphones, Apple products, Amazon devices, and robot vacuums, all of which typically see new record-low sale prices for the year during Black Friday.

Granted, nothing is really off limits on Black Friday — you're likely to find pretty much anything under the sun on sale during the shopping holiday. We've spotted lots of unbeatable deals on outdoor and camping gear, Lego and toys, gaming consoles, stocking stuffers, and reusable water bottles on sale in years' past.

Do any stores price-match Black Friday deals?

Short answer: not really, or at least, not against each other. Long answer: Earlier this year, Target ended its price-matching policy, which allowed customers to price-match from competitors' stock at the time of purchase or within 14 days. Target stood alone as the sole retailer with an official price-matching policy last Black Friday.

This year, Target still has its holiday price match policy, which allows you to price match against Target's own prices, from Nov. 1 to Dec. 24. That means if you buy something at Target and it gets discounted later, you can get still get the discount. Best Buy also offers a price match policy year-round, but it excludes products on sale from "the Thursday before Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving," essentially excluding them from Black Friday price matching. Amazon and Walmart offer no price match policies.

How to shop smart on Black Friday

It's easy to get caught up in the swarm of markdowns and record-low prices that pop up during Black Friday. The best way to avoid buyer's remorse and actually score the savings you want? Come in with a plan and understanding the tools at your disposal. Here's what we mean:

Make a game plan

This may seem basic, but making a list of what you're shopping for can go such a long way to avoid deals FOMO. Begin by creating a list for yourself, and then consider what holiday gifts you need to purchase. This can help you whittle down the absolute essentials of what you want to grab.

That said, it's also great to have a general understanding of what will be available, so take a peek at the latest Black Friday ad scans (again, ideally after you've made your own list). For your convenience, we've perused the major ones, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Lowe's, and Home Depot.

As annoying as having too many apps on your phone can be, downloading apps from retailers like Best Buy and Walmart can make shopping easier and give you access to exclusive deals. That's especially true for Best Buy, which likes to offer limited-time deals available only on its app.

Use price tracking tools

Tracking a product's price history is a pretty fool-proof way to make sure the Black Friday price you're seeing is actually that product's lowest price of the year. The unanimous favorite of the Mashable Shopping team is camelcamelcamel, an Amazon price tracking tool that details essential knowledge like that item's sale price history throughout the rest of the year.

If you're seeing a good Black Friday deal at another retailer like Best Buy or Walmart, you can still check that product's price history at Amazon to see if Best Buy or Walmart is actually offering a new and exciting price. For example, that's how we found out that Best Buy's Black Friday deal on the coveted 65-inch LG C5 isn't that special — the same TV had been at that Black Friday price on Amazon since October.

Which day has cheaper deals, Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

While these were once two distinct days of deals, the month-long-ifcation of Black Friday essentially means that both Black Friday and Cyber Monday get wrapped up into one long wave of discounts to punctuate the end of the month. That's not to say what's available on Black Friday will absolutely be better or worse than what's available on Cyber Monday.

Historically, we've seen really good TV deals on Black Friday sell out by Cyber Monday, while laptop deals tend to stick around (and therefore, be worth holding out for any additional price drops come Cyber Monday). Ultimately, though, if you see a deal you're interested in during Black Friday weekend, chances are it's worth grabbing it when you spot it.

Best Buy's Black Friday sale began on Thursday, Nov. 20, and continues through Saturday, Nov. 29. All of its feature deals are available in stores, online, and on the Best Buy mobile app, according to a company press release.

Best Buy stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day 2025, as they have been since 2020.

What time does Best Buy open on Black Friday?

Best Buy stores will open at 6 a.m. local time on Black Friday. Camping out is only mandatory if a deal you're eyeing is sold out online but still available in stores, IMO.

Does Best Buy do doorbusters?

Yes, Best Buy is supplementing its Black Friday deals with some limited-time doorbusters, which it's billing as "some of the best deals on the hottest tech of the season." These offers drop in batches every Friday through Christmas, and paid My Best Buy members earn $5 in bonus rewards for every $50 they spend on them (up to $25). That includes the Plus and Total membership tiers.

I've listed all of Best Buy's current doorbusters below. All of them are decent deals except for the EA video games and the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, which are cheaper to buy from Amazon and/or Walmart. Best Buy will release more doorbusters on Friday, Nov. 28, aka Black Friday proper.

Best Buy doesn't price-match competitors' deals during Black Friday, but it will price-match itself. If something you've bought there from Oct. 31 to Dec. 31 gets cheaper during that period, you can request to have your purchase adjusted to the better price through Jan. 15, 2026. The only items that aren't covered by this price-match guarantee are holiday decorations and products that come with a third-party contract (like smartphones).

For example, if you purchased a pair of Apple AirPods Max for $429.99 at Best Buy earlier this week, you should be able to take advantage of their new lower price of $399.99 (live as of Nov. 25).

What is Best Buy's return policy?

Under its extended holiday return policy, Best Buy will accept returns for most items purchased from Oct. 31 to Dec. 31 through Jan. 15, 2026. That deadline stretches to Jan. 31 for paid My Best Buy members.

Similar exclusions apply here. Holiday decorations have a 15-day return window, for one. "Activatable" devices (meaning those that come with data plans) can only be returned within 14 days, and they have a $45 restocking fee if opened. Scooters, drones, digital cameras, action cameras, lenses, projectors, fitness recovery devices, cold tubs, saunas, and special-order products have a 15% restocking fee if they're unboxed.

When is Best Buy's Cyber Monday sale?

Best Buy will kick off its Cyber Monday savings event on Sunday, Nov. 30, and it will run for 48 hours through Dec. 1 (aka actual Cyber Monday). The company's press release notes that "there will be limited-time deals available throughout the event," so expect a slightly different assortment than its Black Friday sale.

Is the LG C5 OLED TV deal as good as it seems?

Serious deal hunters will notice a conspicuous absence from this guide: The award-winning LG C5 OLED TV, specifically the 65-inch model. A lot of our competitors are writing about Best Buy's Black Friday deal on it, and it's easy to see why. The retailer has it listed for $1,399.99, or $1,300 off its usual price. That's a really attractive discount on what's arguably the best TV ever made.

However, this deal isn't as good as it seems. Amazon is currently selling the same TV for $1,346.99 (or $53 less), and there's a good chance it'll return to its previous record-low price of $1,249.95 there on Black Friday proper. If you are going to buy it now, get it from Amazon. However, we think it's worth waiting to see if it gets even cheaper in the near future — or if Best Buy matches its rival's deal.

But as for the actual best Black Friday OLED TV deal, we're giving that title to the Samsung S95F OLED. That's another of our top OLED TV recommendations for its wickedly effective glare handling, and the 65-inch model is $1,000 off at Best Buy with a free $100 gift card on top.

While Amazon dominates the online space, Walmart is where you go to shop low prices in person. If you prefer to avoid shipping costs and want to go hands-on with products before buying, Walmart will be open at the crack of dawn on Black Friday. For online shoppers, Walmart+ members will also get early access to Walmart's top deals and doorbusters.

Black Friday officially takes place on Nov. 28, but like most retailers, Walmart's sale started early. Walmart's Black Friday sale officially started on Nov. 25 and runs through Nov. 30, which includes in-store and online savings. Some of our favorite deals that were live in the morning on Nov. 27, like the Oura Ring 4 and PS5 Disc Console, had already disappeared hours later. Many other Thanksgiving night deals have limited inventory with the "percentage claimed" bar climbing quickly, so don't hesitate to shop before the real sale kicks off.

On Dec. 1, Walmart will run a Cyber Monday deal that takes place exclusively online. Leading up to the event, Walmart already hosted a Black Friday sneak peek event from Nov. 14 to 16, featuring early holiday deals.

Walmart Black Friday early access

For both Walmart's Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, Walmart+ members get five hours of early access to the sale starting the day before the event at 7 p.m. ET.

If you're not already a Walmart+ member, the retailer has a promotion going on for new members. You can either take advantage of the usual 30-day free trial or score 50% off a one-year membership and pay just $49. A Walmart+ membership comes with tons of free perks, including free delivery (including local grocery delivery), free access to either Paramount+ or Peacock, pharmacy delivery, and more.
