Competitors to Office Live: Are there other online Office suites?

Yes. Microsoft is not the only one with a version of productivity applications online.

 

So, who can compete with Office Live?

 

First and foremost: Google with its latest acquisition of Zenter, the online Presentation tool or the GooglePoint as referred to by Larry Dignan on this ZDNet blog post. This adds yet another element to the Google Apps:

 

Second, but not least nor last, comes Zoho with an impressive evolving suite of applications:

 

Zoho also plans on integrating Google Gears in order to leverage these existing tools to make them available offline.
