Google +1 in Drupal… as easy as 123

In case you have not yet noticed, Google +1 buttons are now popping up everywhere. And surely enough there is a nice little module for that in Drupal:

1. Simply download the module in ZIP or TAR.GZ format for your version of Drupal (both 6 and 7 are supported for this module).
   
2. Extract its content
3. Upload the content to your /modules folder
4. Login to your Drupal instance (w/ appropriate privileges) to run update.php
5. Enable your newly installed module
   
6. Set your configuration for the Google +1 module at /admin/settings/google-plusone
   
7. Click on Save Configuration
8. Set the permissions for the new module at admin/user/permissions
