Online Notes: alternatives to Google Notebook…
As Google announced a while back that they were no longer evolving Google Notebook, I looked around for decent replacements for a while trying to see where I would move my existing notebooks.
After some looking around, I identified 3 strong contenders:
- EverNote

- Office Live’s OneNote

For now, I have opted for SpringPad given its flexibility, integration w/ multiple authentication providers (including Google) and access across all of my platforms (Windows, Linux, Android) and via different apps as well as browser plugins. Furthermore, the ability to tag, mark as private, share or even email yourself a note is simple and intuitive while keeping all of the power to file and retrieve your notes !
