Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 Upgrade - Lessons Learned

Issue: Static IP address configruation, network not working
Reason: eth0 changed to eth1
Solution: Had to change etc/network/interfaces to reflect the changes, update iface statement to eth1 static

Issue: MySQL returns ERROR 2002 can't connect lo local serve
Reason: MySQLd missing under /var/ and not running
Solution: [easiest] run apt-get install mysql-server-5.1

Overall, great improvements, especially in speed (shutdown).
