Today's the last day of Amazon's four-day Prime Day extravaganza, and as Mashable's resident laptop expert, I've been tasked with finding the best Apple MacBook deals. Truthfully, my job was pretty boring in the early hours of Prime Day on Tuesday and Wednesday: Most of Amazon's discounts on the M4 series were the same as they'd been for a few weeks. But once we entered the second half of the sale, things got interesting.

Yesterday (on Thursday), four MacBook Pros and one MacBook Air got $2 to $38.49 cheaper than they originally were when Prime Day started. As it winds down today (on Friday), I'm now seeing six Pros and two Airs at lower prices than before. All models have yet to match or beat their lowest prices on record, but this is some nice validation for anyone who postponed a purchase.

If you asked me to pick my absolute favorite MacBook deal of Prime Day 2025, I'd go with the base M4 MacBook Air that's hovering at $849. The Starlight colorway briefly fell to $829 on June 20, but I feel totally comfortable endorsing its slightly higher Prime Day price. Realistically, this laptop is a steal even at its full $999 MSRP. Amazon's decision to slash that by an extra $150 mere months after its release is kind of mind-boggling to me.

Among MacBook Pros, the best deal I've spotted is a $250 discount on a 14-inch M4 model with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, which brings it down to $1,749. It randomly fell to $1,715.05 three times in May, according to the price-tracking site CamelCamelCamel, but otherwise its Prime Day offer marks its biggest discount since launch.

I also want to mention that Amazon only carries the full M4 series nowadays. If you want a good deal on an M2- or M3-era MacBook, check Best Buy. It currently has an M2 MacBook Air on sale for just $699 during its "Black Friday in July" sale. The cheapest MacBook anywhere this week is a $533.60 M1 MacBook Air at Walmart, which is also having a summer sale. This once-legendary laptop won't meet modern performance standards, but it could be a good option for thrifty students.

Mashable's Stan Schroeder called the latest MacBook Air "the best-buy Apple laptop, period," praising its quiet oomph, upgraded camera, "great" battery life, and extremely reasonable starting price (which, again, Amazon has reduced by 15%). In his view, its only flaws are a "low number of ports and the fact that the display's refresh rate only goes to 60Hz." The base model sports 16GB of memory and 256GB of SSD storage. We also love this laptop for its incredible performance, open-lid support for two displays, and an upgraded 12MP webcam.

Best Buy was matching Amazon's $849 deal at the time of writing.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro is one of our favorite laptops for photo and video editing: It's blazing fast, sounds amazing, and lasts all day. Former Mashable Tech Editor Kim Gedeon tested a model with slightly less RAM than the one Amazon has on sale for $1,749 — 16GB instead of 24GB — and she recommended it for "creative professional[s] who [thrive] on serious power in a sleek, portable package."

Amazon's Prime Day deal managed to beat Best Buy's Black Friday in July pricing by $10 at the time of writing.

While Amazon sales don't always live up to the hype, the mega-retailer went hard for its four-day-long Prime Day 2025 event. That was especially true for Apple loyalists, as we found tons of Apple products at or near record-low prices. If you missed shopping the sale, there's no need to have FOMO. Like usual, Amazon still has some lingering deals available for the post-Prime Day weekend, and that includes the majority of its best Apple deals.

So, even though Prime Day ended Friday, you can still get the AirPods 4 starting at just $89. You can also score the latest AirPods Pro for $149, and the popular Apple Watch Series 10 is still marked down to $279. (Sadly, the AirPods Max and Apple Watch Ultra 2 are no longer on sale.)

The Apple Watch Series 10 frequently gets discounted at Amazon, but it's never dipped to $279 before — this is a new record-low price, and it's still around post-Prime Day. It's an excellent deal on our favorite smartwatch fitness tracker, especially if you're already deep in the Apple ecosystem.

Though it's missing a blood oxygen sensor, it still works as a pedometer, heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, menstrual cycle tracker, and wrist temperature monitor, to name just a few of its functions. Its ultra-lightweight design doesn't sacrifice a larger display that makes reading all those metrics as easy as possible.

This was a can't-miss Prime Day AirPods deal and we're thrilled it's still around for the weekend crowd. Even with the many noise-cancelling earbuds options on the market, the AirPods Pro remain one of the best choices for folks in the Apple ecosystem. The quick pairing can't be beat, and they are a true plug-and-play option (especially because they don't come with a companion app). The noise cancelling is some of the best you'll find on earbuds, alongside its excellent audio. Mashable's Stan Schroeder gave these earbuds a 4.1/5 in his review, noting that he'd be likely to take them on a plane over over-ear headphones, and writing of their sound "[they] did an equally good job with complex jazz performances and very heavy guitar tunes."

Even at full price, the M4 MacBook Air is an impressively good value, especially considering its brand. For anyone who doesn't need the heavier specs of the Pro (and the additional literal weight that comes along with that), the Air is a great machine. It can handle audio work and some video editing, most college schoolwork, and general day-to-day tasks with ease.

The base 13-inch Air with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is $150 even after Prime Day, bringing it to just $849. We saw it hit a record-low price of $829 in late June, but this is still a great deal to pick up.

2025 has already been a huge year for video games. Between the Nintendo Switch 2 launch and this year's game release schedule, our gaming backlogs are looking downright scary at the moment — not to mention expensive.

Good news, though: Prime Day is still live through 11:59 p.m. PT on Friday, July 11. Amazon's mid-summer sale always marks a great time to pick up everything on your gaming wishlist at a big discount. I've rounded up a list of my top picks below, and I'll be updating it often as the sale progresses (i.e., check back). Struck-through deals were sold out or expired at the time of writing.

I'll also add that Amazon's listings for the Switch 2 and its Mario Kart World bundle finally went live on the first day of Prime Day this Tuesday, July 8 (over a month after the console's official debut, mind you). They're being sold on an invite-only basis because they're still in such high demand, and all shoppers can request invitations, not just Prime members. If your invite is granted, you'll get an email as soon as your Switch is ready to buy.

It's a known fact that Amazon loves to discount its own devices during its Prime Day events. So, it's no surprise that some of the best tablet deals of Prime Day 2025 are going to Amazon's Fire line. On the final day of the sale, which ends at midnight PT on Friday, July 11, we're still seeing discounts of up to 56% off Fire tablets for the whole family, with prices starting at just $54.99.

Amazons Prime Day laptop deals are living rent-free in my head in the final hours of the sale

The battle of the best Prime Day laptop deals seemed like M4 MacBook Air's game to lose. In the lead-up to its annual members-only sale this week, Amazon had Apple's latest 13-incher marked down to only $849 (in all colorways, too). That's $150 off the M4 MacBook Air's already modest MSRP of $999, which is a hefty discount for a popular laptop that only just came out in March.

I thought it would be tough for Amazon to one-up that deal once Prime Day formally started, but I'm happy to say it's proven me wrong: A slew of Windows laptops have fallen to record-low prices there since Tuesday. That includes our beloved Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 and five different gaming laptops with Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphic cards, which were my Prime Day white whales. I really didn't expect Amazon to put any on sale, much less at such steep discounts.

As Mashable's resident laptop guru (and someone who's been covering Prime Day since 2019), I want to share a few quick reminders to help you make smart shopping decisions when you're making a purchase as big as a new computer. One is to avoid third-party sellers on Amazon, which may have their own customer service policies or dabble in sketchy selling practices. The other is to cross-check prices with other retailers to verify Amazon's deals — it occasionally lists incorrect MSRPs — and to make sure you're getting the best price possible. For what it's worth, Best Buy is Amazon's biggest rival when it comes to laptop deals. It's currently running a Black Friday in July sale alongside Prime Day through July 13, and its own RTX 50 series deals are pretty great.

Below, I've rounded up the best Prime Day laptop deals I've found on Amazon. Keep in mind that today (Friday, July 11) is the final day of the sale, and I don't expect these offers to hang around much longer. He gave it an overall rating of 4.5/5.

Amazon's $849 deal applies to all colors of the base configuration with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. The Sky Blue variant briefly dipped down to an even-cheaper $829 in late June, but I have no trouble endorsing it at its current price: It's such a good deal on a popular new laptop that's already pretty affordable.

It’s Prime Day, and while we’re all swimming in deals, I’ve been focusing on one category that’s always tricky: sex toys.

The longest Prime Day ever is on its last leg, officially ending on July 11. And for the past few days, as per usual, Amazon has discounted its own devices to some extreme lows. While we haven't been super impressed by the Echo deals overall, things like Kindles, Fire tablets, and Fire TVs are seeing their best prices ever by a long shot.

While most discounts haven't changed much since day one of the sale, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention that the Kindle Essentials bundle dropped an extra $18 since Prime Day began. That brings it down to only $103.97 from $161.97 (it was $121.97 on July 8). Another addition to the mix is the newest Echo Buds. While a Lightning deal came and went quickly for the earbuds on the first day of the sale, we're finally seeing another significant discount on day three that's worth celebrating. The other changes we're seeing? A handful of Amazon devices on sale have straight up sold out — so if you see a good deal still out and about, make a move.

We're keeping track of all of the best Amazon device deals below and will continue to monitor changes in the aftermath of Prime Day. Amazon tends to be more strict about Prime Day's end time with its own device deals than other brands, but maybe we'll be surprised. Back to the more important matter of caffeine: The Ninja Luxe Café Premier is an all-star machine that can do it all. You'll be able to pull creamy espresso shots, make a comforting cup of drip, and create cold brew in minutes at home. Mangino's review of the machine explains that it's user-friendly but doesn't slack on quality. She found the suggested grind setting to be useful as well as the automatic milk frothing. "If you've ever felt intimidated by using an espresso machine, the Ninja Luxe Café Premier strikes the perfect balance of user-friendly design with high-end settings," she wrote.

I'm a helicopter cat mom, but I'm also a diehard hanger-outer — meaning I'm frequently in a position where I won't be home for a feeding time or two. The idea of simply overfilling my cats' bowls with kibble doesn't sit right with me, and neither does the concept of relying solely on an automatic dry food feeder. I'll be far too paranoid about lack of hydration-related health issues if my girlies don't get their wet food, and stumbling across Petlibro's automatic wet cat food feeder a few years ago has been such a comfort for all of us. Amazon's sale officially ends tonight, so I'm fully urging cat parents to grab this genuinely-great Prime Day pet deal before it's gone. (There's also an upgraded version with a stainless steel bowl instead of a plastic one, which I wish I had. That one's on sale for $110.49.)

We're nearing the end of Amazon's Prime Day event, and after sifting through thousands of "deals" (some great and some not-so-great) we can officially say it: Prime Day actually delivered the goods this year.

However, while the best Prime Day deals on noise-cancelling earbuds are truly wild, the top Prime Day deals on noise-cancelling headphones aren't quite as strong. If you're shopping for wireless earbuds with ANC, prices have never been better. On the headphones front, there are some notable absences this year. Cough, Bose, cough. And while Apple AirPods Max headphones were briefly on sale for $399 at Amazon, that's no longer the case, sadly — though you can still grab them at Walmart for the record low.

Overall, this is an awesome time to pick up a new pair of noise cancellers. The AirPods Pro 2 just hit $149, a true all-time low price that's an incredible bargain. For those wanting the over-ear experience, you can get flagship headphones from Sony and Beats on sale.

Prime Day isn't exactly known for its streaming deals, but this year, we were blessed with quite a few. While most of those deals are only available for Prime Video members as add-on services and expire at the end of Prime Day (today, July 11), this Paramount+ deal is live through July 13, meaning you still have through the weekend to pull the trigger.

Here's the scoop: new and returning subscribers can score two months of Paramount+ Premium (that's the ad-free tier that includes Showtime) for just 99 cents per month. Typically $12.99 per month, that ends up saving you $24 total. Even better, you can score the deal on its own through Paramount+, so you don't need to be a Prime member to take advantage of the savings.

For what it's worth, the deal is also valid on the Essential tier, but we recommend going with the Premium tier as you'll get a whole lot more for 99 cents — including ad-free viewing, access to the entire Showtime library, the ability to stream CBS live and download movies and shows for offline viewing, and 4K, UHD, Dolby Vision, and HDR10 quality.

Either option you choose, remember that the cost per month will jump back up to full price (either $12.99 or $7.99 monthly) after the two-month promotional period ends. Be sure to cancel ahead of that deadline if you want to avoid charges.

What can you watch with your 99-cent Paramount+ Premium subscription? Glad you asked. Big Brother Season 27 just started, which means you can watch new episodes and live feeds on Paramount+. Dexter: Resurrection also premieres on Showtime this weekend. Paramount+ with Showtime is also where you'll find new movies like Smile 2, Gladiator II, and Love Me, as well as shows like Yellowjackets, RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, and Criminal Minds Evolution.

A Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event happening right in the middle of Prime Day week could cause some confusion about which Samsung phones are actually on sale for Prime Day. The new foldable ones aren't, of course, but there are some good Prime Day deals on 2025 Samsung phones: the S25 models. Just released in February after the winter Unpacked event, these are still the newest non-foldable Samsung flagship phones, and several options like the S25+ and S25 Ultra can be found for up to 29% at Amazon for Prime Day.

If you do see one of these phones still on sale and in stock, upgrade while you can. July 11 is the last day of Prime Day, and we've already seen the deal on the 256GB S25+ disappear.
